It was designed based on data from the average golfer, typically hitting a 7 iron between 155-160 yards, as opposed to other competing rangefinders that focus on the average tour player hitting a 7 iron between 175-180 yards. By tailoring the M-Slope feature to the average golfer, it better serves the majority of players.
