FAQs
Is the Minimi NR approved for tournament play?
The Minimi NR is approved for tournament play: Permitted under the Rules of Golf when the M-Slope and E-Slope modes are turned off and Model Local Rule G-5, prohibiting the use of distance-measuring devices, is not in effect.
Can I access M-Slope and E-Slope simultaneously?
Technically you can not have both modes turned on at the same time. However, E-Slope integrates the M-Slope function all while also calculating the enviromental calculations (temperature, altitude, and humidity).
How is M-Slope designed for the average player?
M-Slope uses ballistics technology that measures distance using height and ball trajectory. It was developed using statistics on the average golfer who hits a 7 iron between 155-160 yards. Other competiting rangefinders use the average tour player who hits a 7 iron between 175-180 yards. By basing the M-Slope feature on the average golfer, it is more suited for the majority of golfers.
